Thank you so much for your reply! And the kind offer of the Android code - I'm visually impaired, so I need my larger screen,  There's absolutely no rush , I don't have to play it NOW - but it makes me happy to know that I might be able to play it again some day! For what it's worth, the game worked perfectly while it worked, no issues at all. If any info from me can help. let me know. All the best with the new game, and I hope that at some point I will be able to enjoy both Demonheart and the new title!

Hello, I purchased your game a couple of years ago and I loved it :-) It worked excellent on Linux Mint (Sarah, I think..?). I then had to switch to Fedora 35, which refused to run the game, blaming some libraries,  I was unhappy, but hoped some system update might fix it (never happened). Then - present time - I switched to Ubuntu 22 LTS, and sadly I still can't run the game; whenever I try to launch the game, I keep getting an error message: " exit code 0xffffffff (-1) for (demonheart), no messages for standard error, →standard error: empty".

I know other users were able get help from you,  so I hope that maybe at least you would have an idea of what I could do?  I remember having so much fun trying different ways of building the characters personality and exploring the possibilities :-)

Best regards!

Finished my first playthrough (Mikail, romantic, Empathy + I talked to him to the very end and did exactly what he suggested). Loved it, loved everything about it. The passion and all the thought that went into this, the aesthetics, the fact that the puzzles were easy enough even for me ;-), the fact that everytime I thought "oh, I've got this, I know what this game wants from me" I was soon proven wrong and I had to think about my answers and action. I was invested in the characters (in Mikail the most, of course), and I feel that I wouldn't be able to simply recreate the story that I have just experienced, which makes it unique. It also makes me look forward to the next unique story as I try again. I wonder what happens if I try to ascend through logic with Keska as a friend by my side. I'm not good with elegant complements (which is maybe why I could easily identify with Ilyon ;-) ), but I just wanted to say that you should be really proud of this game.
